Temporary residance card for foreigners
01. Conditions for application 
1. Foreigners issued with LV1, LV2, ĐT, NN1, NN2, DH, PV1, LĐ, TT visas shall be issued with temporary residence cards with the same symbols.
2. The inviting entity shall apply for issuance of a temporary residence card on behalf of an eligible foreigner at Immigration Administration Department or Division of immigration administration of police authority of the province or central-affiliated city where the inviting entity’s headquarter is located or where the inviting entity resides.
3. Validity period of a temporary residence card shall conform the entry purposes and the application. A temporary residence card has a validity period of between 1 and 5 years provided that it is 30 days shorter than the validity period of the passport

03. Procedure
Step 1: Prepare the following documents
- A written request from the inviting entity;
– Form NA6 for organization
– Form NA7 for individual - A declaration bearing a picture (Form NA8)
- Passport
- Papers proving the status of being granted temporary residence card
Step 2: Submit the file
The inviting entity shall apply for issuance of a temporary residence card on behalf of an eligible foreigner at Immigration Administration Department or Division of immigration administration of police authority of the province or central-affiliated city where the inviting entity’s headquarter is located or where the inviting entity resides.
Step 3: Get result
Within 05 working days from the date of receipt of valid documents, the licensing authority shall grant a temporary residance card.
